Free Black! "LIVE at CAVE Akron"
This album is a live offering of one our shows back in March at CAVE Akron on March 31st, 2023 (which was also HR3's birthday). The show featured Beyonderers (Akron) & Tiny the Dream (Buffalo). Jeff France was our sound engineer for the night & he caught the entire show.
This album captures how raw & unfiltered our shows are, it previews three new songs as well as songs from our first three projects. We hope you enjoy the ride & that you see us on stage in person soon! - FB!

“The Free Black! name was created on the mantra that ‘There isn't one way to be black.’ There are many stereotypes (with blackness specifically), that suggest that black people can’t be multi-faceted & through the music, this notion is discussed in detail. In embracing our individuality, we can learn to be more accepting of ourselves & where we come from, as well as our peers. The duo was created in 2017 through collaboration between both artists. Our self-titled album was released on October 26th, 2018 via Bandcamp & Soundcloud.” - FT
